Absolutely nothing!

I visited one of my biggest and oldest clients earlier this month.

As always, he asked me “What’s new?” What’s the latest thing we’re offering, trialling, or on the horizon?

I told him “Absolutely nothing”.

He knows, in the past, we’ve always looked for that ideal add-on to our email campaigns, anything where we can add value, attract a different class of client, and quite simply add more to the bottom line.

But it’s never worked out.

We’ve tried everything over the last 16 years - web design, SEO, PPC, social media marketing - and, quite simply, we’ve never been good enough to warrant charging for it, nor have we been able to get it slick enough to warrant the time when compared with our core product.

Outsourcing has become my best friend over the past couple of years!

I finally have colleagues I can easily pass web design work, social media work and PR to.

Fact is we know email marketing. It’s who we are, what we do, and we’re bloody good at it.
